Team
Symmetry brings together the talent and expertise of artists, designers, fabricators, writers, copyeditors, and other collaborators best-suited to each project. Robin’s frequent collaborators include artist and writer Daniel Cook, communication designer Karen Cronin, and master craftsman Joe Partridge.
About the Founder
Robin C. Dietrick
Robin has worked in and with museums and other cultural organizations for more than twenty-five years as a curator, designer, editor, and project manager. As an exhibition developer and designer, she prioritizes cohesion between content and design, with design being an integral component of storytelling.
Before founding Symmetry, Robin was curator of exhibitions for the Mississippi Museum of Art, where she managed significant publications and hundreds of exhibitions from local to international significance. She studied graphic design at Loyola University New Orleans, obtained an undergraduate degree in studio art + art history from Colgate University, and received a graduate degree in museum studies from Harvard University. Robin has served as a board member of the Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters, the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi, and the Art Council of Clinton, Mississippi.
