Army Corps of Engineers Timeline

Client: Lower Mississippi River Museum, US Army Corps of Engineers

Installed December 2024

The history of the US Army Corps of Engineers has roots that extend back to the eighteenth century. Engineers have been consistently and extensively involved in the country’s growth, defense, infrastructure, and disaster recovery. Symmetry edited existing text and secured imagery from the Corps’s digital library and beyond to share a selection of these stories with the public in Vicksburg, a home base of the Corps. Symmetry designed the graphics and freestanding structure using fonts, colors, and materials that blend with existing exhibits at the Lower Mississippi River Museum.
