Project: Interpretive Signage Design

Client: Luckett Communications / LaPointe-Krebs Foundation

Exhibition on view beginning October 1, 2021

A 2021 restoration of the La Pointe–Krebs House (1757) returned the Pascagoula, Mississippi, home to its c. 1820 form. Symmetry designed fourteen graphic panels that provide interpretation of the home, and focus especially on the 18th and 19th century construction methods used in its creation and the history of the site revealed through archaeological research. Symmetry designed the signage, working closely with Jeanne Luckett who developed the content for the project.
